Description

A schools programme has been in place since September 2008. Engagement with young people in schools allows the opportunity to discuss issues of homelessness before a crisis situation is reached. Contractors are invited to submit a tender for planning, preparing and delivering a structured programme in the Amber Valley schools for Year 10 or 11 pupils, including pupils excluded from mainstream education. This will involve eight secondary schools and the Sawley Support Centre. It is expected that a pupil resource will be developed for use alongside the sessions in school and as a source of information in key locations such as libraries.
Tenders are being invited from contractors with suitable qualifications and experience. Tender pack available on request
