City of Lincoln Council is seeking tenders for the provision of a Merchant Acquiring Service.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement,and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.

Bidders should be aware that this opportunity will be made available to all other local authorites within Lincolnshire. Whilst this is an immediate need for the City of Lincoln Council other authorities may wish to benefit from any preferential pricing schedules throughout the contract period. If this is the case local authorities will enter into seperate contracts with the successful service provider.
